How to Help Amatrice and Italian Earthquake Victims
August 30th, 2016
The New Jersey Italian Heritage Commission (NJIHC) is supporting local and national Italian American organizations that are raising funds for victims of the August 24, 2016 earthquake that devastated central Italy and the town of Amatrice.

Individuals who wish to contribute financial support should donate to a reputable relief organization or nonprofit. NJIHC has designed and distributed a flyer that details how you can donate to several Italian American nonprofits that are currently collecting funds for earthquake relief. If your organization has not received a flyer, we encourage you to print and post a copy in your place of business so that the community knows how to help.
NJIHC is also constantly adding upcoming earthquake fundraisers to the NJ Italian Events Calendar. To make sure you receive the latest news, subscribe to the NJ Italian Newsletter and like the Commission’s Facebook page.
